Women's World Championship Qualifier
Simultaneous with the 2-day Women's Qualifier will be 2 one-day tournaments open to members of any FPUSA club.
Saturday Sept. 8 melee triples
Sunday Sept. 9 select doubles
Registration is $10 per person for each tournament. All entrance $ will be distributed to top teams in the concours & consolantes.
Please contact Andre Strong by Friday Sept 7 if you plan on participating by email (andrelstrong@gmail.com), and register on site by 8:30 the morning of the tournament.
Awards dinner
At approx. 6pm on Sunday Sept. 9 will be a Down East Lobster dinner, on site, at the Boatyard Grill. Features steamed mussels, 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 lb. lobster, corn on the cob, red potatoes, salad and dessert. Price is $40 tax & tip included. If lobster is not desired alternatives will be available, please let us know in advance your preferences, Boatyard Grill will also be taking orders each morning for box lunches with a variety of sandwiches ($7 - $9).
Maine Boules Club will be providing free coffee & pastries each morning and bottled water during the day. MBC does not have a website but you can follow the club at MAINE BOULES CLUB on Facebook to see what the terrain looks like and for updates on weather predictions, photos, results etc.

FPUSA Northwest Regional Triples Melee Results
August 12, 2012 at La Petanque Mariniere courts, San Rafael, CA
The event drew 54 players in 18 teams of triplettes from across the Northwest region.
The final results and prize money:
Concours
1st place: Kevin Evoy/Phim Nielsen/Tamara Efron: $73.00 each
2nd place: Paul Moua/Pierre Bremont/Christine Cragg: $41.00 each
3rd place: Steve Jones/Jean-Michel Poulnot/Simone Furlan: $31:00 each
Consolante
1st place: Steven Paulsen/Patick Vaslet/Helen McGill: $31:00 each
2nd place: Yor Lee/Larry Cragg/Christine Jones: $20.00 each
3rd place: Alain Gusella/Antonia Paulsen/Nan Walker: $13.00 each
Antoine Lofaro served as the event's sole umpire and credit for smooth organization is due to Verena Rytter, Bart Zachofsky and David Riffo.
