FPUSA NW Regional 65 "over/under" Mixed Doubles results

(April 15, 2012) The first running of this tournament format was a nice little success. 

19 teams competed on a beautiful day in Lafayette, CA. There were some interesting pairings in the field, and two first-time Gold Medal Winners! 
Congratulations to Mary and Brendan!

Here are the results:
Gold: Brendan O’Brien & Mary Albright, Lamorinda
Silver: Shannon Bowman & Mike Cooper, VOMPC

Bronze: Ed Porto, Petaluma & Denyse Haney, Sacramento

1st place: Rene Di Maio & Tamara Efron
2nd place: Alain Gusella & Eva Lofaro

SE Regional Melee Triples -RESULTS-

Boca 2000 Hosted the 2012 SE Melee Triples Tournament and this will be our last FPUSA Tournament  for this Season. The Canadians start heading home for cooler temperatures and us  well we have to suffer thru the summer heat and rain but October it's almost here to start the cycle one more time.

HOT (Heart of Texas) Open Tournament -RESULTS-

Once again this was the Fourth Annual HOT Open Tournament in Austin Texas but this was the first time that the venue was at the Mueller Hangar a perfect place to have a Petanque Tournament, an Open Hangar providing cover from the Elements but letting the air to circulate to keep cool. The weather was on the hot side with 90 degrees but very comfortable in the shade. 
There was a total of 32 Teams ready for a full day of Competition.
